Yes. Taking the test and seeing your CEFR level is completely free. Payment is only needed if you would like the official, personalised certificate.

Your certificate shows your full name, your CEFR level and level name, a unique certificate ID and the date of issue. It is issued by the Westbridge Institute.

The certificate states your level against the internationally recognised CEFR framework, which employers and institutions around the world use as a common reference. You should always confirm a certificate meets the specific requirements of any organisation you intend to present it to.

The certificate is delivered as a high-quality PDF that you can print at home or at a print shop whenever you need a paper copy.

The certificate costs 19 EUR. The price is always shown clearly before you pay.

Payment is handled securely by Stripe, a leading global payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

Because the certificate is a personalised digital product that is generated immediately after payment, no refunds are available once a certificate has been issued. If you were charged but no certificate was generated due to a technical problem, contact us and we will put it right. See our Terms and Conditions for full details.

First, check your spam or junk folder. Your certificate is also available to download on the success page straight after payment. If you still cannot find it, contact us and we will resend it.

The certificate is issued using exactly the details you provide, so please enter them carefully. If something is wrong, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

Anyone can confirm a certificate on our verification page by entering its unique ID. A valid result shows the holder’s name, level and date of issue.

The ID is printed on the certificate and included in your email. It always begins with “WB” followed by seven digits.
